The AvaL standardisation project has now been completed and published under DIN 30763.

The AvaL standard is used for communication between waste management companies as part of order processing, as well as for data exchange with customers. The waste disposal industry in particular is characterised by multi-stage order processing that means there is a high level of networking between all parties involved. In the past, information on basic key data for disposal was exchanged in paper form, mixed form or with individual solutions, which led to media disruptions and manual reworking when working with other parties involved.

The AvaL standard has created uniform interfaces for the exchange of order-related service data and a standardised use of language for containers, materials, services, collection cycles and more. The secure and fast exchange of information speeds up processes and individual process steps can even be automated. Collaboration with new participants is now possible at any time. The web services provide access to the centralised master data catalogues. Secure communication between partners is possible via the OAuth interface.
